Cockapoo is a Blend of a Cocker Spaniel & Poodle
I am a small animal veterinarian that has raised Cockapoos for the past 30 years. All of my Cockapoos are first-generation cross puppies — both parents are pure breeds within their own breed: a purebred Cocker Spaniel and a purebred Poodle. The cross is a true 50/50 hybrid. I own all of the parent dogs and have owned several generations of dogs beyond my dogs. I Raise Cockapoos For Sound Health And Great Temperaments. All Of The Parent Dogs Are Vet Checked Yearly And Monitored Throughout The Year For Any Health Issues. Cockapoos Get Their Intelligence And Non-Shedding Coats From The Poodle Parent And Playfulness And Sturdy Build From The Cocker Spaniel Parent. They Come In A Variety Of Colors: Buff, Cream, Red, Spotted, Black, Chocolate, And Merle.
Cockapoos are very easy to housebreak and train. they have higher than average intelligence and often will play Games with you. Given that they do not shed, they make an excellent choice for families with allergies or asthma. My Cockapoos do require routine grooming every 6-12 weeks depending on the desired length of their coat. Cockapoos love playing with toys and fetching balls and oftentimes enjoy playing or swimming in water. This combined with their sturdy build makes them a good family dog with children. Their adult size ranges between 15 to 30 pounds when fully grown depending on their parents and their size in the litter.
