As an experienced small animal veterinarian and breeder of Cockapoos for the past three decades, I take great pride in the quality of my hybrid puppies. All of my Cockapoos are first-generation crosses, resulting from the breeding of a purebred Cocker Spaniel and a purebred Poodle. This true 50/50 hybridization produces offspring with a range of desirable traits, including intelligence, non-shedding coats, playfulness, and a sturdy build.
To ensure the health and well-being of my Cockapoos, I take great care in monitoring and vetting all parent dogs on an ongoing basis. Regular check-ups and attention to any potential health issues are a top priority, as I believe that only healthy parents can produce healthy puppies.
Cockapoos are known for their ease of training and housebreaking, as well as their above-average intelligence. They enjoy playing games and engaging in activities with their owners. Due to their non-shedding coats, they are an excellent choice for families with allergies or asthma. Regular grooming every 6-12 weeks, depending on desired coat length, is necessary to maintain their coat’s appearance and health.
These dogs come in a range of colors, including buff, cream, red, spotted, black, chocolate, and merle. With their playful and active nature, they make wonderful family pets, especially for households with children. Cockapoos typically weigh between 15 and 30 pounds when fully grown, depending on the parents and the size of the litter.
I am passionate about breeding Cockapoos for sound health and great temperaments, and I am confident that these loving and loyal dogs will make an excellent addition to any loving family.
